UNMASKED: WONDER WOMAN

In anticipation of friday's(June 2nd) upcoming blockbuster, Wonder Woman, we unmask the  protagonist behind the film in her true and natural form.

Gal Gadot stars as Wonder Woman in the fictional dc extended universe production and 2nd most anticipated movie(behind Fate of the Furious ) of the year. She is an Israeli actress and model who was born on the 30th of April 1985. In 2013, she was ranked as the second highest earning actress/model in Israel.

In narrating her gruelling training regiment as wonder woman, she reveals," It was intense and it was very tiring. It was full-blown everyday, six or seven hours a day for six months".

As an Israeli citizen, Gadot has served her two years in the Israeli army and she credits it for her role as Gisele in fast and furious. In her words,"I got the role because Justin Lin( the film's director), really liked that i was in the military and wanted to use my knowledge of weapons".

She reveals she had the most fun having to use the weapons, "The weapon training I liked the most, I know how to use a gun and I know  about combat training," she stays.

She found horse riding less fun than she would have hoped for:"But I also thought I was gonna love horse-riding because it always looked like it would be so easy." She pauses,"Its not, it was super painful and i had tommes of bruises", she exclaimed.

She's married to real estate developer, Yaron Varsano and the duo have two kids. Gadot rides a black 2006 Ducati Monster-S2R motorcycle. Shes a Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls by the United Nations.

As Wonder Woman, Gadot first appeared in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice(2016). She has also starred in movies such as the crime-thriller, Triple 9 (2016), and in the thriller film Criminal (2016). Her most recent film before Wonder Woman is the comedy, Keeping up with the Joneses (2016), in which she played a secret agent.
