For the second week running Star Wars 2017 maintains its run atop the Box Office, Comfortably relegating Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, despite debuting this weekend, to second with a difference of over $30 Million
In its second week since its launch, Star Wars 2017 returned a Mind-boggling $68.4 Million from 4,232 theatres to give it a Total Box Office Gross of $365 Million. Its imperative to know it has a budget of $200 Million.

  • Columbia Pictures action adventure comedy film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle launched with an opening Box Office weekend release of $34 Million to place second. This figure was collated from 3,765 theatres at an average of $9,031 per theatre.
  • Universal Pictures opening weekend of Pitch Perfect 3 came up 3rd with $20.4 Million from 3,447 theatres. It has a budget of $45 Million.
  • The Greatest Showman, despite launching today, comes up in fourth with $8.6 Million to gross a total of $13.1 Million. This total is from 3,006 theatres at an average of $2,861 per theatre. It has a budget of and is distributed by 20th Century Fox.  

  

  • Fox Studios animated Family Comedy, Ferdinand, is 5th with a 2nd weekend gross of $7 Million from 3,630 theatres at an average of $1,942 per theatre, bringing its total gross so far to $26.5 Million.
  • Disney Pixar's fifth weekend of Coco is sixth with $5.2 Million from 2,111 theatres, taking its total gross to $161 Million from a budget of $175 Million.
  • Paramount Pictures science-fiction comedy drama, Downsizing, opened with $4.6 Million from 2668 theatres at an average of $1,724.
  • Focus Features Biographical War Drama Film,The Darkest Hour, returned into the top ten with $4.1 Million this past weekend. This total is from 806 theatres for a total gross of $6.9 Million at an average of $5,093 per theatre.
