Much Ado About Marvel's Black Panther.

As Friday the 16th of February 2018 draws ever closer, the world waits with anxiety for a cinematic humdinger- the word is out on its promise- that guarantees much and is destined to deliver on such expectations. The buzz is real, almost touchable and for once in living memory, Valentine day's week, a period historically considered as a benchmark for love all over the globe, surprisingly takes a back seat on its much revered week, such that its fair to say Black Panther(BP), over love, is in the air. With so much furore shown by almost everyone, HybridMovies examines why there is so much ado Marvel Cinematic Universe's Black Panther.

Worth the Hype
There's a huge trust fans have in Marvel Studios so much so that every expected flick either already in the works or just birthed as an idea generates a cinematic pandemic. It's been fever pitch since the first BP poster hit the news last May, and looking back on the wakanda natives debut as a super-hero in 2016's, Captain America: Civil War, there's reason aplenty to believe the hype. Stunning visuals, Avant-Garde special effects, High-tech and unusual dexterity adorn each trailer of a movie that centres on the fight for the throne of the technologically advanced African country.

The blend of traditional African culture-Director Ryan Cougler had to research deeply from South African, Lesotho and Malian cultures- to its Hollywood style gives an exciting appeal to its rating and it's no surprise the movie received an overwhelmingly positive buzz on/off social media. Movie review sites distinct it with excellent grades on their platform. It is Fresh with a 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes and with 87 out of a 100 is currently one of the best-reviewed Marvel film on Metacritics movie review site. As of this moment, BP pre-sales ticket has unprecedentedly outsold every previous Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. BP promises so much more and should top your to-see list or better still your to stream list.

Why You Should be Excited
There are three Marvel movies slated for Year 2018 alongside Black Panther: AntMan and the Wasp and the much anticipated Avengers: Infinity War. With the BP's strong social awareness, its erroneous to harbour any thought of the BP being a dress rehearsal to May's Avengers:Infinity war. Without mincing words, its a force of its own. That the first trailer to AntMan and the Wasp was barely noticed due to the BP's swelling social strength speaks volumes of its hype.
BP is Marvel Studios first black lead and features a mainly all-black cast. It has a star studded ensemble of A-listers and prodigious youngsters with the picks of the pack being the quintet of eponymous Chadwick Boseman, Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o, mercurial Danai Gurira, veteran Forest Whittaker and the effervescent Michael B Jordan. Its directed by Ryan Coogler.
BP arrives at a time when racial tensions are on the rise for varying reasons as explained by cinemablend hence a black super hero depiction provides a welcome distraction. Politically, the BP is a victory for the under-represented minority class in Hollywood who have long craved for a greater slice of the acting cake. It goes without saying that director Ryan Cougler is leading the frontiers for the sustained addition of more minority directors with his excellent performance.

The Black Panther is already being tipped by critics as a potential movie of the year and HybridMovies thinks with all the positive press generated by its indomitable buzz, it should be worth its weight in gold. For the first in a long time, there's genuine excitement in the air and to-be-honest, Friday the 16th cant come soon enough........Bring on the Black Panther.
