Today in Behind The Fiction, HYBRIDMOVIES takes a break from the norm to focus the spotlight on the man behind the blockbuster that's being dubbed as "arguably the greatest war film ever" and the "first major oscar contender for the year", according to Peter Travers of Rolling Stone Magazine.
Christopher Nolan is an acclaimed writer, director, Screen writer and producer. He was born in london on the 30th of July, 1970.  His first feature movie Following, was released on a budget of $6,000 in 1998. The success of following gained Chris enough credibility and remuneration for his next film Memento, which ultimately was a huge box office success, claiming a slew of awards including an oscar nomination. He would go on to successfully direct hits such as Insomnia, Batman Begins, The Prestige and The Dark Knight-which totalled more than a billion dollars in global box-office gross.

Hollywood's highest paid director also has Smash-Hits such as The Dark Knight(2012), Man of Steel(2013), Interstellar(2014) to his credit. Hybridmovies certainly thinks he is formidable. On set he is known for his dislike for phones and e-mail addresses. In his words, I've just never been interested in phones and e-mails, when I moved to LA in 1997, nobody really had cell phones and I just went down that path.
