American actor Chadwick Boseman was born in the U.S to parents Leroy and Carolyn Boseman on the 29th of November, 1977. He is of Sierra Leonan descent. Chadwick is an alumni of Howard University in Washington D.C, British American Drama Academy in London and New York city's Digital Film Academy. He is also a playwright and counts basketball, baseball, boxing and listening to music amongst his hobbies.

Chadwick Boseman's first role in Hollywood
was in 2003's crime-drama TV series Third Watch, where
he starred in just an episode. Subsequent TV roles Law and Order(2004), CSI:
NY(2006), to mention a few, would pave the way for a role in his first feature
film, The Express(2008). His first major role however came in the 2013 film 42, where
he starred as Jackie Robinson, a biological sports film about the racial
incorporation of American professional baseball. He has starred in Get on Up(2014), Draft Day(2014), Gods of Egypt(2016), Marshall(2017). His most prominent role to date for which he has achieved global fame and recognition is Marvel's Black Panther, where he stars as T'Challa, the king of the fictional African country,Wakanda. He is billed to reprise his role as Black Panther in Avengers: Infinity War, sometime later this year(2018).

Chadwick Boseman is an advocate for greater minority inclusion in Hollywood, he once echoed his disgust at how annually, Hollywood combs for the next white kid or white leading man on the block as against the next Denzel Washington or Will Smith:"Every year, Hollywood is looking for that new white leading man and new starlet that audiences fall in love with. But they're not looking for the next Denzel Washington, Will Smith or Sidney Poltier."
